Another productive working bee at ACT Speedway, and what a fantastic effort from everyone who rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in!

From the big jobs to the little finishing touches, it's the commitment of our volunteers that keeps things progressing around the venue.

With the new season fast approaching, it's great to see everyone coming together and putting in the hard yards to get the place race-ready!

A massive thanks to everyone who gave up part of their Sunday to lend a hand.

A huge thank you to Alan and the team at PHL Surveyors for being such an important part of our track journey. 🏁💚

Their professional surveying work helped turn our design into reality, and quite simply, this transformation wouldn’t have been possible without their expertise and support along the way.

We’re incredibly grateful to have had a local Bungendore team helping us bring the new-look ACT Speedway to life.

Thank you, PHL Surveyors!

It started with a plan to improve the track… and quickly became a major transformation at ACT Speedway. 🏁

Over the past couple of weeks, a huge amount of work has gone into reshaping the racing surface while keeping the character that makes our track unique.

The track wall remains unchanged, and the circuit still has its distinctive uphill and downhill layout — but the racing surface itself has had a serious overhaul.

The corners have been widened to around 20 metres at both ends, with considerable banking added to create a completely different feel for drivers and, hopefully, some even better racing.

None of this would have been possible without Charman Earthmoving and Heavy Haulage.

The photos really do tell the story…
And just like that… we are done. 💚🏁

🔥 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT ACT SPEEDWAY! 🔥

Over the past couple of weeks, our track has undergone a complete transformation — and the difference is incredible!

The pole line has been dropped, the corners have been widened, and the result is a totally different track ready for an exciting season ahead. 🏁

This has been a massive undertaking and simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of Charman Earthmoving and Heavy Haulage.

A huge thank you to Dave Charman and the entire team for the time, machinery, hard work and effort they’ve put into transforming our venue. What they’ve achieved is absolutely fantastic, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it in action!
