Another swashbuckling event on the horizon for the Cape Fear Buccaneers in Swansboro! Despite the rain threatening to send everyone to Davy Jones' locker all day, it couldn't dampen the spirits of the many who came to swab the decks! When the sun peeked out, it teased us all into getting warm, but the real treasure was the love shown to us by the fine folks who appreciate what we do for the little scallywags and their families - and let's not forget the b***y! We're doing this pirate gig for the kiddos and the kidults, and days like these remind us why. Mermaids, pirate hideouts, sword fights, b***y-ful vendors, grub galore, photo ops, rowdy combatants, bards singing sea shanties, and a scavenger hunt that didn't make you walk the plank - a grand day indeed! Big thanks to the Town of Swansboro for rolling out the welcome mat for us once more, we treasure your town! 🏴‍☠️
