Join us on June 6 for the 2008 Academy Award-winning animated film “WALL-E”, the story about the last robot on Earth in the year 2805. The movie will begin at 8:45 p.m. with doors opening at 7:45. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite lawn chair, food, and libations.

attleship 101 takes your visit beyond the usual tour route with Battleship experts stationed throughout the Ship. Chat with them about gunnery, engineering, sick bay operations, and what daily life was really like for the crew of BB-55.

Even better? You may get the chance to step inside spaces not normally open to the public.

Tour the Battleship’s Gun Systems
Big Bang Tour

This tour is an overview that focuses on the Battleship’s 16-inch and 5-inch gun systems. You will have the opportunity to follow the general procedure for firing the guns, from target identification and acquisition in the Combat Information Center and fire control directors to the development of the fire control solution in Main and Secondary Battery Plot. A visit to the powder magazines, projectiles handling space, and the gun house completes the process that ended with a REALLY big bang. The Big Bang Tour does require going up and down several ladders (stairs) and is not recommended for visitors with mobility issues.

The Tour is offered Saturday Mornings, 9:00 a.m. only
Admission Reservations must be made 36 hours in advance
