Carolina DockDogs joins Board Member Jeff Wheeler in mourning the loss of his beloved Hero Dog, Nerlens.

There are some dogs who leave wet paw prints on the dock, then there was Nerlens who left pawprints on your heart. Nerlens was a fierce competitor who always left it all on the dock. With many amazing events came even more amazing memories that we will cherish forever.

To "Nerlabamba", NerNers, we will miss you terribly, and we grieve alongside you. Fly High Nerlens. Thank you for the memories, love, and the joy you brought to everyone.

🌊🐾 Battleship Splash 2027 update 🐾🌊

2026 Battleship Splash was amazing and thank you for all who attended and made it another unforgettable weekend with Carolina DockDogs! We couldn’t wait to start planning 2027. So mark your calendars for May 21st–23rd, 2027 for Carolina DockDogs annual Battleship Splash in Wilmington, NC! We hope to see your there!!!!

Had an awesome weekend hanging out with people from all over that came down to uss_north_carolina in Wilmington to jump their dogs and have a great weekend. This backdrop is one of a kind for jumping dogs so I did my best to get photos of everyone jumping in front of the ship. Give me some time to get to these photos. I am still working on wrapping up some past events but I will have updates over the next few weeks from all the events over the past 3 weekends.

BattleShip Splash Dock Diving officially kicks off today at Battleship Park! Join us for an action-packed weekend filled with high flying canine athletes, exciting competition, local vendors, food trucks, raffles, and family fun for all ages.
Come cheer on the dogs as they launch into the water and enjoy everything our amazing sponsors and vendors have to offer all weekend long. Whether you’re competing, spectating, or just looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone!

What a great first day of setup and Try-Its at Battleship Splash! 🌊🐾

We loved seeing so many new jumpers hit the dock for the very first time and even more smiles from everyone out there having fun with their dogs. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped kick off the weekend with us!

Now it’s officially time to start our Battleship Splash weekend — let’s make it one to remember! 🚢💦
