Yesterday evening, the FVCC was in Downtown Wheaton for another Paint the Town Purple event! Volunteers from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office, Family Shelter Service of Metropolitan Family Services DuPage, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, DuPage Public Safety Communications, and Probation and Court Services distributed our QR code resources for local businesses to display in their windows and inside their establishments, helping raise awareness about domestic violence and connect community members with available support services. We are grateful to all those who volunteered their time and to the businesses that supported this important initiative.

Our Paint the Town Purple event in Downers Grove last week was a success thanks to our FVCC members and State's Attorney Bob Berlin and other representatives from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office, who helped distribute QR code materials to more than 150 local businesses throughout the downtown area.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of all the community partners who joined us in this outreach effort to raise awareness in a meaningful way.
