Our mission is to encourage open-minded inquiry into world religions, philosophy, science, and the arts in order to understand the wisdom of the ages, respect the unity of all life, and help people explore spiritual self-transformation. We stand for equity and justice for all. We affirm the spiritual unity that exists at the core of all beings while honoring the unique and diverse paths that indiv

iduals walk, including but not limited to differences in age, gender, religious or spiritual tradition, race, ethnicity, disability, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. We denounce racism and intolerance in any form, both past and present, and encourage all members of the Theosophical Society in America to self-evaluate and explore cultural biases that are an inherent part of physical manifestation. We strive to create an open and safe community where seekers from every walk of life are respectfully heard and have access to spiritual resources that speak to their unique life experiences.

What might our dreams reveal about the deeper life of the soul?

Dreams can become a bridge between waking consciousness and the hidden dimensions of our being. When we learn to remember and engage with them, they may illuminate the inner patterns shaping our daily lives.

This clip is drawn from Gwynne Mayer’s previous class, The Soul Dreams: Practical Dreamwork for Everyday Life.

Continue the journey with Gwynne in Soul Retrieval Through Dreams on June 27, and explore how the wisdom of dreams can deepen self-knowledge and support the soul’s journey toward wholeness.

Spiritual Practice in Daily Life

*A four-part online class with Ravi Ravindra, Ph.D. starts Saturday, June 6th!* Register and learn more at https://bit.ly/49BGVhs

In these gatherings we will undertake actual practices relevant to spiritual development, which requires more and more freedom from self-occupation and self-advancement. What is required is an impartial and clear self-awareness without fear or attachment. What is called for is to become more receptive to the quiet vibrations coming from the subtler levels deep within each one of us.

On each occasion, we will have an extended meditation, suggestions for practices on a regular basis while involved in our worldly engagements, and a clear look at what assists us and what stands in our way.

Occasionally we will speak about a few remarks of some great sages and explore how they relate to us and how we respond to them in practice. For example, a remark of the Buddha: “In this very body you can discover all the gods and all the demons.” And a remark of Christ: “Unless you leave yourself behind, you cannot be a follower of mine.”

Only those searchers should join these webinars who are willing to impartially look at what takes place inside them during their usual daily life and are willing to share their observations and questions with other searchers.

"Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future but from wanting to control it."
~Kahlil Gibran

What peace might enter us when we let tomorrow arrive in its own time?

The anxious mind believes peace will come when everything is under control.

But control is often the very weight that keeps peace away.

When we stop trying to force the future, we return to the power of the present.

There, the soul can breathe again.

When we feel anxiety arise, may it remind us to open the hand that is gripping tomorrow and return to the peace that is waiting here.
