Last weekend our Sr. Prevention Educator Nicole was able to share her wonderful knowledge on Healthy Relationships at Indian Prairie School District 204's Mental Health Symposium. Nicole helped parents and staff recognize warning signs in relationships and provide guidance on how to be a trusted adult who connects teens to support and resources.

Join us for Domestic Violence training! The March 40-Hour Training session is open for registration.

Domestic violence is a complex and pervasive issue that affects one out of four women and one out of seven men in their lifetime. Our professional facilitators offer this training up to 8 times per year and trainings are open to professionals and community members who wish to deepen their understanding of domestic violence and learn how to connect survivors with lifesaving services.

Last week, members of BOMA’s Board of Directors and staff visited our shelter for a guided tour of our space. Their genuine interest, thoughtful questions, and commitment to supporting survivors made the visit incredibly meaningful for our team.

We were honored to receive a generous $3,000 donation provided to us through the support of the "It Ends With Us Gala", in support of our mission to provide safety, healing, and hope to individuals and families throughout DuPage County. 💜

This contribution directly fuels lifesaving services — including our 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, counseling, and legal advocacy — ensuring survivors never have to face abuse alone.

For the Court Advocate’s Office at DuPage County Courthouse: Advocates will be available until 12pm on 12/24, and the courthouse remains open all day. The courthouse will be closed on 12/25 and 12/26. The courthouse is open on 12/31, but advocates will not be available. The courthouse will be closed on 1/1/26 and opens back up Friday, 1/2/26.

Our administrative office in Wheaton is closed 12/24 through 12/26 and again on 12/31 and 1/1/26. Our hotline and 24/7 DV shelter remain open. Please reach us at 630-469-5650.
