A heartfelt thank you goes to NOW Foods for their generous food collection efforts that helped stock our pantry shelves, ensuring we can provide essential nourishment to those in need.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Lou Malnati's and Graycor for their kindness in providing a warm meal to our guests experiencing homelessness at the Interim Housing Center (IHC)! It is the unwavering support from our community that makes ending homelessness possible.

This week on , we're celebrating our community partners from McDonald's Corporate. During their Global Volunteer Month, the McDonald's team returned to the Interim Housing Center to prepare and serve lunch for over 300 guests in shelter.

For two years, McDonald's continues to support our mission through the Meals That Matter initiative and by donating Guest Pantry snack packs during the holiday season.

Additionally, our dedicated volunteers have noted urgent needs for baby wipes, size 5 diapers, batteries, and paper bowls/plates.

Join us in celebrating Arlene, a neighbor who found safety at the Interim Housing Center (IHC) in 2025 after fleeing domestic violence. We’re grateful to share that she has been officially approved for a Haven of Hope apartment, a DuPagePads housing program for DV survivors. 💜

Arlene showed incredible strength and determination throughout her time in interim housing. Not only is she preparing to move into a new home of her own, but she has also been hired at a local social service organization, where she’ll be giving back to the community with her inspiring spirit. Her journey from homelessness and surviving domestic violence to becoming a community advocate is nothing short of remarkable, and we are so happy for Arlene! This , we extend our sincere gratitude to St. Mark's Episcopal Church Glen Ellyn for 20 years of critical support! The annual pumpkin patch on the front lawn has become a community tradition, raising over $140,000 for DuPagePads' mission to end homelessness over the years! We invite everyone to get in the spirit of the season and purchase their pumpkins at St. Mark's, knowing that each pumpkin you buy makes a real difference for neighbors experiencing homelessness.
