"Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season..."
2 Timothy 4:2

Despite energy interruptions, gas shortages, and general uncertainty, Moscow Theological Seminary students in Crimea press on in their work and ministry.

MTS's Bachelors in Church Ministry program requires practical ministry event planning, and one such manifestation is summer youth ministry outreach.

Despite ongoing infrastructure issues, students were still able to push beyond these limitations to conduct youth conferences. The objective was to offer hope, discipleship, and Gospel teaching to a disillusioned generation who is looking for answers.

Director and Pastor Dmitry Kotov explains:

"The theme of the conference was 'God is the Director of Your Life.' The aim was to show the teens that bible truths can be applied to their individual lives. Each lesson was designed to teach them that if God is the director of their lives, then no part of life will be meaningless, hopeless. This truth was shown through bible accounts about creation, the life of Joseph, Esther, Achan, and Ruth.

Our student/youth ministry team spent a whole year preparing sets, food, lodging, outdoor activities, and teaching and discipleship materials. All the students put a lot of heart into this work to help teens learn about the love of Jesus Christ regardless of present conditions.

Out of 66 youth, 18 came from non-believing and unchurched families. For them, the conference was an entirely new experience to hear of God's plan for their lives, and 7 of them repented to saving faith in Jesus!"

Please pray over these teens, that the Lord would continue to strengthen their faith!

On June 6, the Moscow Theological Seminary held its most recent round of graduations.

Thirty students from three academic areas of study were awarded diplomas or certificates in their respective areas of specialty, which included
Fundamentals of Practical Theology & Preaching; Fundamentals of Theology & Christian Education; and Biblical Counseling in Social Ministry.

The graduates, mostly hailing from the greater Moscow region, were not only deeply grateful for the opportunity to receive in-depth training, but also newly inspired to apply their skill to their areas of ministry.

MTS Administration conferring diplomas at this special event were Peter Mitskevich, Vladimir Vovk, Vladimir Pavlovsky, and Alexander Spichak and they ask for prayers over the graduates, their families, and their ministries.

Revelation 19:7
Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his Bride has made herself ready.

And the angel said to me,
"Write this. These are the true words of God..."

"We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28

New post today details how an MTS graduate/couple turned a trial into a ministry, effectively creating good for the kingdom.

In 2018, the Lord brought Kesenia and Denis Vasilyeva a treasure - their son, Seva.In the midst of their joy, they were also given a trial: Seva would have to work his way through life with spina bifida, a condition of the spine, and would soon be relegated to a wheelchair. The Vasilyevas were equal...

In the 1930's, banners hung in the Museum of Religion and Atheism in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia, reflecting Lenin's sweeping mandates in his campaign to kill religion and "reform" his country. One read: "The most important phase of eliminating religion lies in the education of children".

And educate they did.
Thousands of books were published covering every aspect of atheistic philosophy and taught in Russia's schools.

The impact is evident. Today, with fewer than 1% of evangelical Christians in the country's vast 11-timezones, Marxist/Leninist ideology clearly has made a dent.

RLM has been working to repair the ruins of 70 years of this atheistic indoctrination.
Through its flagship seminary in Moscow, the Moscow Theological Seminary, and its 8 regional training centers throughout Russia, we are working to train Christian leaders so they, in turn, can train their churches and communities.
