We've received another message from Bubbles and his mom!

"I have a whole fenced in yard! The squirrels and bunnies bully me, but I run them off! I also have a king sized human bed! Don’t worry! I make sure mom doesn’t take over more than 1/4 of it so I can stretch my leggies. I’ve gotten really good at dropping my toys before I go outside when mom insists, but sometimes I forget and they need to be washed because I get distracted and leave them outside overnight. Don’t worry! I save them from the dryer! I met a trainer Tuesday. She said I’m so sweet and there’s not an aggressive bone in my body! I’ve done so well with all the basic commands I already knew, but now I’m rocking place, down, and stay on top of that! Thank you for taking care of me!" - Bubbles

"I wanted to follow up again about Bubbles. He is the sweetest boy! The only issue we have is still him not understanding personal space! I don’t mind at all, but he chases things in his sleep, which wakes me up because he is obviously either sleeping touching me or using me as a pillow in some way. I also don’t often get to sit on the couch without his big head staring at me on my lap while he rolls over for all the pets. Bubbles is the best! " - Bubble's mom

Enjoy a night of laughs, fun, and fundraising! DuPage Animal Friends is teaming up with Zanies Comedy Club for a fun comedy event supporting the animals at DuPage County Animal Services. Join us on Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 PM for great comedy while helping raise vital funds for DAF's lifesaving work. Your participation helps provide essential care, enrichment, supplies, and other resources for animals in need at DCAS. Bring your friends, share some laughs, and help make a difference for the animals who need us most!

After 192 days spent at the shelter and foster care, 15-year-old Buddy has finally found his fur-ever home!

A thank you to his adopter for seeing beyond his age and kidney disease and seeing the amazing cat who deserved a second chance at a loving home. We're so happy Buddy finally has a family to call his own!
