Peaches (formerly Forti Flora) is thriving in her new home! Her family noticed improvements within just a few hours, and by the next day she was like a whole new cat. She's eating well, her bowel movements have stabilized, she has more energy, and she's even putting on healthy weight. Her family is overjoyed to see her gaining strength and confidence.

A family stopped. A shelter cared. Volunteers loved on him. And now he’s home furever. It took a village of kindness to make Gary’s new life possible.

A note from Gary's family:
"Gary has already brought us a lot of joy and we deeply appreciate the kind family from Texas who found him on the highway, took him in, nursed him back to health, loved on him and then made a supreme sacrifice and drove him all the way to Wheaton.

We are happy that while he was with you, he was loved and cared for by your staff and, we were told, frequently taken on outings by volunteers.

A whole lot of wonderful gave us Gary--it's hard at times to see past some of the weeds in the Garden of this World, but the family in Texas and all of you...and Gary, are the flowers."
