Another successful Career Fair for the books📚! We held over 2,900 interviews between law students and public interest organizations nationwide last week.

This incredible turnout shows today's law students share our passion for public interest law and a commitment to closing the access to justice gap.

Thank you to everyone who made this year's Career Fair a success!

We are already looking forward to next year!

September is National Recovery Month. A time to recognize the strength of those in recovery and recommit to the systems and support that make healing possible. 💙

The opioid crisis remains one of the most urgent public health emergencies facing our country, and too often, the legal barriers people face make the road to recovery even harder. That's where our Fellows come in.

2024 Fellow Lauren Williams at Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio - LASCO provides direct representation helping individuals with Opioid Use Disorder advocate for their right to stable housing, financial and medical benefits they are entitled to, and help families stay safe and together.

Congratulations to 2026 Fellow Katy C. on receiving the Hispanic National Bar Association - LGBT Division Legacy Scholarship! 🎉

This award recognizes a law student who has demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to advancing LGBTQ+ rights, inclusion, and equity particularly with the goal to support the development and advancement of Hispanic students, legal professionals, and community members.

As she begins her Fellowship at Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, Katy is already hitting the ground running. She’s providing rapid-response legal advocacy in immigration detention through legal consultations, Know Your Rights presentations, and direct representation. In just her first three weeks, she has already served five individuals.

We are so proud of you, Katy! ⚖️
