With yesterday’s passage of the bipartisan housing package, we are proud to honor Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II and Congressman Mike Flood with the Carl A.S. Coan Sr. Award at the 2026 Housing Visionary Awards Gala on June 24 in Washington, DC.

Their bipartisan leadership alongside Chairman French Hill and Ranking Member Maxine Waters demonstrates that meaningful progress is possible when leaders come together to address our nation’s housing challenges.

The amended package includes important reforms to modernize federal housing programs, reduce barriers to development, and support the production and preservation of affordable rental homes and opportunities for homeownership.
