Today, Leigh-Ann and I were completely surprised by our amazing team at In My Father’s Kitchen with a wonderful gift card to enjoy a meal together and two cards filled with so many heartfelt, loving words. 🥹❤️

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Leigh-Ann and I are truly blessed to serve alongside such an incredible team. The truth is, we could never do what we do without each and every one of you. You are the hands and feet of Jesus, showing up day after day, moving toward the mess, extending your hands, and bringing hope and dignity to those who often feel forgotten and invisible.

We may have the privilege of leading this mission, but it takes an entire team of passionate, compassionate people to make this mission possible. Every meal served, every relationship built, every life changed, and every person who finds their way off the streets is a reflection of what we accomplish together.

Your words, your kindness, and your thoughtfulness mean more to us than you know. Thank you for not only being part of this mission but for being such a beautiful part of our lives.

❤️ YOU ARE NOT INVISIBLE
494 PEOPLE OFF THE STREETS!

Another GREAT day at In My Father’s Kitchen! Today, we celebrate our 493rd and 494th friends off the streets of Central New York a mother and daughter who now have a place of their own! 🏠❤️

Our incredible care managers, Shelly Frank Dunham and Saoirse Murphy-Collins, did a wonderful job walking alongside this family, navigating the process, and helping prepare them to be matched with a housing provider. Today, they are indoors and beginning a new chapter of their lives!

But we don't stop when our friends get handed some keys. We want to help make that apartment a HOME. 🏡

We've already dropped off some goodies to help make their new place feel like their own, and Shelley is heading out today with groceries to fill their refrigerator and cabinets with the necessities they need to get started from our partners at Abundant Life Church Reach Pantry!

Because housing is more than four walls and a roof. It's about dignity, stability, hope, and the opportunity to begin again.

Fifteen years. 494 people off the streets. And we're not done yet!

To everyone who has prayed, given, served, partnered, and extended your hands into the streets with us, THANK YOU! You are part of every single one of these stories. This work happens because people like you believe that no one should be forgotten or left behind.

Always Great to receive a message from a friend we have assisted!

Hiiiiiii guess whoooo!?!? It's Dakoda! 😊 I truly think of you guys and IMFK every single morning when I do my prayers before starting my day and how much of a life saver you both truly are Kevin and George! I just wanted to let you know I will always be grateful for the things you and IMFK have done for myself but, mainly for every one who is still struggling but still human in Syracuse. Winter is coming and I officially am driving again and currently saving for a car! Tomorrow I also sign the second years lease at my apartment and just got an email two days ago that said I have paid all my debt and credit cards and bills on time for a whole YEAR! 😳 I'm honestly staying focused and vigilant at the same time and it is working out so well. God is truly amazing and so are both of you guys and the IMFK team for not only staying strong for yourselves and wives but for us. I speak for myself the ones still out there and the ones gone too soon by saying you are both exactly where God intended for you to be and how amazing that must feel everyday for you guys I look up to you and your families and would not be even close to where I am without both of you 😢 I love and miss you both, best believe my ass coming up as soon as I get that car though 😘 have a good day Kevin and George ❤️ I am forever grateful.

🏡 492 PEOPLE HOUSED. 30,000+ MEALS SERVED. 15 YEARS OF CHANGING LIVES! ❤️

What a GREAT week last week at In My Father’s Kitchen as we welcomed home our 492nd individual off the streets of Syracuse! 🙌

Please join us in welcoming R.C. into her very own place! There is something truly beautiful about watching someone walk into their own home for the first time, knowing they have their own space, their own door, and their own keys. 🔑❤️

But we don't stop there! Now it's time to fill those cabinets with groceries! 🛒 Thanks to our amazing partners at Abundant Life Church, we're putting food in her kitchen and helping her get settled. And with all of you, our incredible Sous Chefs, stepping up to fill in the gaps, we're reminding R.C. that she is not alone.

This is what it's all about. It's about more than a meal. It's about dignity, hope, relationships, and walking alongside someone as they take the next step toward a new life.

When we look back over the last 15 years, we're humbled by what God has allowed us to be part of:

🍽️ 30,000+ meals served.
🏡 492 individuals welcomed home.
❤️ 15 years of showing people living on the streets that they are NOT invisible!

Every number represents a real person. Every home represents a new beginning. Every meal is an opportunity to build trust and remind someone that they matter.

Another great day with our friends and partners at Mission Hope Community in the Village of Camillus!

You have been incredible supporters of In My Father’s Kitchen from almost the very beginning, and we are so grateful for your continued friendship, encouragement, and commitment to the work happening on the streets of Syracuse.

What means so much to us is your willingness to extend yourselves beyond your own community, learn more about the realities of chronic homelessness, and encourage others to come alongside us in this mission. When people take the time to understand the struggles of those living on our streets, hearts are changed, awareness grows, and lives can be transformed.

This work has never been something we were meant to do alone. It takes a community of people willing to move toward the mess, see those who are often overlooked, and remind our friends on the streets that they are seen, they are valued, and they are NOT invisible.

🎉 A BIG SHOUT-OUT TO IGNITE ATHLETICS!🍝❤️

We want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing young ladies of Ignite Athletics for selling over 450 jars of Taste & See Pasta Sauce as part of their fundraiser! 🙌

For every jar sold, they earned $2, raising money to support their own outreach opportunities within their local community while also helping us raise awareness for the work we do on the streets of Central New York through In My Father’s Kitchen.

Think about that more than 450 jars of sauce going into homes, bringing people together around the dinner table, and helping make a difference in two communities at the same time! That's what we call EATING WITH A PURPOSE! ❤️🍝

We believe that when communities come together, incredible things happen. These young ladies are a wonderful example of how a simple jar of pasta sauce can become a vehicle for generosity, service, and hope.
