Neighbors learned how to cook a delicious meal at this month's Free Kitchen Additions Cooking Demo with the Kitchen Literacy Project. Chef Joe from Mojo's taught participants how to cook a pan-roasted root veggies and apple slaw. Neighbors were able to ask Chef Joe questions about the recipe while he cooked it. After tasting the slaw, neighbors received wooden utensils and cutting boards to assist them in making this recipe themselves at home.

Last week we held our Annual Easter Basket Giveaway. Thanks to Konossioni Masonic Lodge #950 we were able to distribute baskets to 85 families. We also want to thank Brick Yard Billiards, who donated 65 Easter Baskets for the youth as well. This support from the community is what helps us make a difference in our neighbors lives.
