Here's a look into the lively evening this fun group had as winners of the Candle Making Experience live auction package from CASA's 50 Men Who Cook!

They made their own candles with Vuur Lont Candle Co., enjoyed charcuterie from Say Cheese - Picture Perfect Bites, bar service from MVP Sports Bar and a private shopping experience with 35:35 Makers Collective!

We are incredibly thankful for the support these incredible businesses continue to give to CASA and our mission.

CASA staff, Advocates and Board Members spent Saturday cheering on the NIU Huskies at Huskie Stadium! Thank you to NIU Athletics for helping us organize this wonderful Volunteer Appreciation event.

Fun fact: Many of our staff, board and Advocates are NIU Alumni! Go Huskies!

Jessica, Xena and Celestina attended the ATHENA Awards last week.

What an honor it is to celebrate the powerful women who work so diligently in our community. We are proud to be a part of Gather, the DeKalb Chamber, and this community!

Senior Advocate Supervisor, Jeremy, Advocate Supervisor, Rachel and a couple of our incredible CASA Advocates recently attended the Kane County CASA Conference.

They were able to meet with CASA Advocates and staff from other programs, as well as hear an incredible keynote and attend various breakout sessions. We are thankful for these opportunities to learn and grow with the other local CASA programs who serve our neighboring counties!

Our Executive Director, Jessica, spent the day in Chicago for Illinois CASA Director's Day last week!

She spent the day learning with other CASA program leaders about child development and wellbeing, as well as what's new in the CASA world, including an updated training curriculum and online database.

Jessica even took a walk to Millenium Park and saw the Bean, pictured here!
