Good Morning from the Taylor Marshall Farm!!!

Yesterday afternoon the grounds had a chance to dry off quite nicely, and the ground firmed up. Currently, there is a fine, misty rain that is predicted to quit around 10:30 am. Thankfully it's so light that it doesn't seem to be making too much of a mess.

All in all, I think it's shaping up to be a pretty great show day!

The breeze is blowing and the sun is shining! Things are beginning to dry out, but it is still quite muddy. We are doing our best to limit non essential vehicle movement around the grounds until things firm up a little more. All in all, it's shaping up to be a great afternoon!

Good Morning Steam Fans!

As you can imagine, with the amount of rain we've gotten over the last two days things are wet and muddy around here. So here are some tips for visiting the Taylor Marshall Farm in these wet conditions.

First, wear some boots you don't care about! The mud is unavoidable.

Second, the campground is currently CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC. Please do not drive into the campground so that we can try to preserve what is currently left of the roads. Please park in General Admission parking.

We are working as quickly as we can to put out gravel, wood chips, and straw to soak up as much water as we can to make your show experience more enjoyable.

All that being said, we are here, we've got steam, come on out and see us!

The Sycamore Steam Show & Threshing Bee begins Thursday, Aug. 13 and runs through Sunday, Aug. 16 at Taylor Marshall Farm.

We were contacted by the wife of a late member who has a quantity of redwood and walnut lumber available. This lumber has been stored for many years and available free of charge.
