Through our Community Benefit Fund, the Sycamore Champions Foundation invests in the organizations working every day to enrich lives, meet local needs, and create lasting impact.

Funding is available to support:
• Project-based initiatives
• Operational expenses
• Capacity-building efforts, including technology, training, and strategic planning

Congratulations to Julia Weaver, recipient of our 2026 Future Community Leaders Scholarship!

Julia believes that "the most effective leaders are the ones who make others feel supported and seen." It's a philosophy she has lived through her involvement in student leadership, athletics, volunteer service, and her commitment to helping others.

This fall, Julia will begin studying Human Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky as she pursues a career in occupational therapy. Her passion for serving others and her vision for strengthening the communities around her made her a standout recipient of this year's scholarship.

Through the Entrepreneurial Assistance Grant, the Sycamore Champions Foundation invests in emerging local businesses by providing flexible funding for critical start-up needs such as equipment, inventory, marketing, technology, and business development expenses.

By supporting entrepreneurs in the 60178 community, we’re helping strengthen the long-term future of local business and building a more vibrant, sustainable Sycamore for generations to come.

POWER Academy connects Sycamore High School students with local business leaders, helping them build the confidence and essential employability skills they need for success beyond graduation.

Through this partnership with Sycamore High School, students gain real-world insight, explore career pathways, and strengthen the skills that matter most in the workplace—from communication and collaboration to problem solving and adaptability.
