Weekend recap! Opportunity House Athletics was in full swing with events on both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday: Special Olympics Bocce Qualifier
19 of our Bocce athletes competed for a spot at the Special Olympics State Bocce competition. It was a strong showing all around, highlighted by 6 gold medals!

Sunday: Volleyball vs. SOAR
We hosted our friends from SOAR out of Bloomington-Normal for a series of volleyball matches. Both Thunder Black and Thunder Red played two matches each, resulting in some great, competitive games and excellent sportsmanship from both sides.

Looking Ahead
We're right back to work this week as preparations continue:

Heat Softball continues tuning up for the upcoming State Softball Tournament in a couple of weeks.

Volleyball teams are returning to practice to build on Sunday's matches.
