🧚 Volunteers Wanted for Fairy Festa! 🧚

Sew She Can is looking for a few magical helpers to join us at Fairy Festa on June 20th & 21st!

We'll be sharing our mission with the community, hosting a free children's activity, and connecting with families throughout the weekend—and we'd love your help.

Volunteer opportunities include:
✨ Friday booth setup
✨ Greeting visitors and sharing our mission
✨ Assisting with our children's activity
✨ Booth coverage throughout the event
✨ Sunday teardown and packing

We're planning shifts of approximately 3½–4 hours so volunteers can also enjoy the event themselves. Of course, if you'd like to spend the whole day with us, we'd love that too!

Bonus: Fairy wings, fantasy attire, and whimsical costumes are encouraged! 🧚‍♀️✨

💜 Thank You, Spokane 💜

We are still soaking in the magic of Project Prom Closet.

To everyone who donated formalwear and accessories — thank you. Because of you, hundreds of students had the opportunity to walk in and find something that made them feel confident, comfortable, and absolutely fabulous. 👗✨

To the students who came to shop — it was an honor to be part of your prom journey. Seeing so many of you light up when you found "the outfit" is something we will never forget.

This event meant so much to all of us. Our board and volunteers agree — this was one of the most meaningful experiences we’ve ever been part of. 💜

And here’s the exciting part…

Because of this incredible community, we received around 500 dresses, which means we’re already looking at additional opportunities for students to come shop again. 👀✨

Stay tuned…this isn’t over yet.
