Thanks to our artists and friends from MT, ID, and WA (and everyone who showed up!!) our two wildfire relief events raised $1,105 for the Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund.

Many thanks to Jera for managing the clothing and goods drive outside of The Big Dipper! Over 400 essential items were collected for local families affected by the Spokane wildfires.

We aim to harness the power of art, music, and movement to support mental wellness and bring aid right where it’s needed.

Wanna make a lasting difference in our region? We’re actively seeking corporate sponsors and repeat donors to help us keep using creative expression to heal and rebuild our communities.

Sunday was a freakin’ BLAST. Thank you to Dana and Joel for hosting our second fundraiser of the weekend! We raised a lot of money for the Spokane wildfire victims and got to have a great time together doing it.

Solomon, Jarad, Malia & Kaden are now brothers. Branded in beef and united under the simple idea that our community is our greatest super power and we want you all to be a part of it.

Please enjoy some smeary photos, some amateur video and the karaoke/jam band fun our night evolved into. Til next time!!! Thank you to all who joined in the fun and helped us make a difference.

This Friday, Spokane proved what happens when the community comes together. To support our friends, family and neighbors affected by rampant wildfires in the area, Big Feelings hosted a benefit show featuring Kitties & Ti***es, Jug O’ P**s, Locust Cathedral, a surprise Torn Open set and opening and closing EDM sets with Porcelain Robot.

Thank you to the bands, The Big Dipper, Jera, Innovia Foundation, and all of the attendees, here is what we did together:


• $571 RAISED directly for the Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund to support short and long-term relief efforts.
• 400+ ESSENTIAL ITEMS COLLECTED (clothing and non-perishable food) through the donation drive partnership with Jera.
• 100% GRASSROOTS SUPPORT driven by local artists, volunteers, and community members showing up for Spokane when it really matters.

This is the worst wildfire season Spokane has experienced in over 100 years. Over 10,000 acres burned, over 900 structures lost and over 65,000 residents forced to evacuate. While thankfully no lives have been lost in the event, damage continues to rise with millions in home, property and work loss and firefighting costs. 

In response to these events Big Feelings has chosen to partner with Innovia Foundation, the organization managing the Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund.

IMMEDIATE RELIEF - FOOD AND CLOTHING DRIVE:

Right outside of The Big Dipper tonight, a local community member is setting up a clothing and food drive to be donated to The Salvation Army. This will also benefit those in need through this awful time. Gently used or new clothing and non-perishable food items can be donated even if you aren’t able to attend the event. Please consider bringing an item or two to immediately help the residents who are losing their comforts of home to the wildfires.

Catastrophic events like these wildfires are life-changing.
