An important back to school message from NAMI

The first few weeks of the school year are a time of adjustment. As students settle into new routines, educators have an opportunity to create classrooms where every student feels welcomed, supported and ready to learn.

Whether you're helping students navigate friendships, manage stress or build healthy coping skills, you don't have to do it alone.

NAMI's free Back to School resources include classroom activities, conversation guides and practical tools to help support students' mental health throughout the school year.

It’s been nearly a month since our 5th annual Self-Care Fair at the Spokane County Fairgrounds. We’ve recently learned that this is now the second largest resource fair in the region. The event continues to grow and we appreciate everyone who has helped to make it successful. We will be out at the Fairgrounds again next year and we are hoping to continue to provide incredible resources and help to even more families in need!

We'd like to thank everyone who came out for our 2026 Resource & Self-Care Fair at the Fairgrounds. It was a huge success with over 500 guests in attendance. We'd also like to thank all of our amazing partnering vendors. Without their support, we could not continue to provide such a valuable event for our community. The event continues to grow every year, and we are already planning for next year. More to come...

We have lined up close to 60 different vendors, including 2nd Harvest, Breast Intentions, and DSHS Mobile Services. The event is free and open to all families in need. Longhorn BBQ will be serving a free lunch too!
