Meet MECTF.

The Washington State Patrol's Missing and Exploited Children Task Force is one of the most important child protection units operating right here in Washington State.

Here's what you need to know:

MECTF is a multi-agency task force made up of federal, state, and local law enforcement. Their mission: find and recover sexually exploited children and apprehend child predators before any harm is done.

Since their first operation in August 2015, MECTF has made nearly 400 arrests and removed numerous children from dangerous situations. Most recently, Operation Guardian in Snohomish County resulted in 21 arrests in a single week.

This is happening in our communities. In our state. In our neighborhoods.
To report suspected child exploitation, contact the WSP tip line or your local law enforcement. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.

On July 22, the Spokane Indians are donating $5 of every ticket to This Mission, so every seat sold helps in the fight to end human trafficking. Same ticket price, bigger impact.

Cumberland Fellowship had the privilege of spending time with the leaders of 20 Kids’ Clubs in the San Carlos area, equipping them with practical resources to better serve the children in their communities.

Together, they shared ideas on teaching engaging Bible lessons, creating meaningful crafts, recruiting and empowering volunteers, and building ministries that welcome children with special needs.

These leaders carry a deep love for the next generation and a desire to faithfully serve them.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to encourage, equip, and stand alongside those who are making an eternal impact in their communities. 🤍
