Volia Fund was proud to participate in the 2nd Annual Borshch Festival at Marina Park in Kirkland, Washington. With sunny weather and a stunning waterfront setting, hundreds of visitors stopped by our table to meet the team and learn more about our mission.

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared stories, and celebrated Ukrainian culture with us. Events like these remind us that food brings people together and strengthens the bonds of community 💙💛

On June 14, Americans celebrate Flag Day, honoring the Stars and Stripes and the values it represents.

The 50 stars on the U.S. flag represent the 50 states, while the 13 stripes honor the original colonies that formed the nation. Together, they symbolize unity, freedom, and democracy.

The Ukrainian flag – blue skies over golden wheat fields represents peace, hope, and resilience.
Though separated by oceans, both nations are united by a belief in freedom and the right of people to determine their own future.

Today, we celebrate not only two flags, but the values they represent and the partnership that continues to support Ukraine in its fight for freedom.

Last year, Dima’s run helped us continue our recovery. This year, we ask for your support again.

From a rehabilitation center in Ukraine, veterans recovering from limb loss and life-changing injuries send their gratitude to Dima and everyone who supported last year’s journey.

This year, Dima is running 220 miles across Iceland to help more Ukrainians rebuild their lives.

International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression 🕯

Every number represents a child whose life has been forever changed by war.

Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine:

▪️ 707 children have been killed
▪️ 2,548 children have been injured
▪️ 2,318 children are considered missing

The youngest child killed was just two days old.

Behind every statistic is a name, a family, and a future that should never have been taken away.

On this day, we honor their memory and stand with the children and families whose lives have been affected by war.
