Hosted by the Ukrainian Cultural Center Toloka, this special event brings together local Ukrainian organizations, businesses, and community members for an afternoon of food, culture, and connection.

Taste unique borsch recipes, vote for your favorite, and enjoy live cooking demonstrations.

Volunteer Drivers Needed for Ukraine 🇺🇦

Our Swedish partner organization, Blågula Bilen, is looking for volunteer drivers – preferably based in Lviv or Sweden – to help deliver emergency evacuation vehicles to Ukraine and help save lives.

For the past 4 years, Blågula Bilen has supplied hundreds of vehicles for Ukrainian defenders and frontline needs. They purchase vehicles, repair them, organize logistics, and bring them to Ukraine.

Right now, they urgently need more volunteer drivers.

Drivers are needed every 1–2 weeks, and there is no long-term commitment — you can help whenever you are available.

The fund covers:
• petrol
• ferry
• hotel during the trip
• bus/train back to Poland
• plane ticket

(Volunteers cover their own food and drinks.)

Before the war, Taras worked as a long-haul truck driver – living on the road, moving between cities, and building a life rooted in independence and stability.

The war changed that.

Today, his hope is to return to his family, live in peace in Ukraine, and rebuild a future without fear.
