October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! 🍂📖
To celebrate the bright, creative thinkers we support, we’re sharing the heart behind INW Dyslexia Alliance—why it began, and why its work matters in our community.
Meet Carter!
Carter is an exceptional student who gives 110% every day. His teachers consistently recognize his effort, persistence, and love of learning. He learns differently, and with the right support, he shines.
Subtle signs appeared when Carter was little, and by second grade his family began looking for answers and support to help him thrive.
His family found the INW Dyslexia Alliance, where they were met with understanding, clear next steps, and immediate support.
Since beginning services, Carter is thriving, gaining confidence, making meaningful progress, and excited for every session with his teacher.
Carter has always loved learning, and now he is building the skills and confidence to grow into a strong, independent reader.
Melissa, Carter’s mom, shares:
“I am so thankful we found INW Dyslexia Alliance. I reached out and they quickly contacted me and changed everything. I felt supported, understood, and they set up Carter right away to begin. He is already doing so well and enjoys his visits with his teacher at the Alliance.”
