Happy Friday, Spartanburg!
Cool weather crops are making a comeback so come support your local farmers by buying the best locally-grown carrots, broccoli, bok choy, sweet potatoes, greens, etc. around! We also have pasture-raised chicken and pork as always, as well as duck and chicken eggs, fresh baked sourdough breads and flaky pastries, local honey (including fun flavored kinds), loads of specialty mushrooms, fresh-pressed juice, succulents and cacti, a wide variety of pet treats for man’s best friend, artisan-made soaps and body care products, ceramics, etc.
Buy fresh cut flower bouquets before Mr. Frost decides the season’s over and stock up on apples and winter squash while you still can! We’ll have carving pumpkins from Bush-n-Vine for sale at the info booth ($10 each) that you can carve and bring back next week to submit for our Halloween Market pumpkin carving contest.
Sparkle City Knives is also back this week. Be sure to bring your dull blades in so Nick can show them a little TLC. This means that boiled peanuts are back too!
We’ll see you in the morning.
