For more than three years, this gathering was just a vision: bring together people who share a burden for reaching unreached people groups in a high-security, closed country.

Last month, the vision took a major step forward. More than 40 leaders gathered to share what they’re learning, encourage one another, and explore how they can collaborate to reach people who have never heard the gospel.

Praise God for how He continues to move in some of the world’s most challenging contexts! Please pray for this group as they build trust, seek God’s wisdom, and take their next steps together.

In rural Nepal, one pastor was burdened by the realization that no single church or ministry could reach every village alone.

So he brought people together.

Churches and ministries mapped the area, identified who was already serving where, shared resources, trained local leaders, and worked toward one shared goal: bringing the gospel to villages without a church.

When the effort began, there were 20 churches - and 30 villages with no church or known believers.

Working together, the number of churches grew to 46, while the number of completely unreached villages fell from 30 to 4.

The progress didn't come from one ministry doing more. It came from many people working together toward the same vision. Collaboration makes it possible to go further together than any one of us could go alone.

Emeka (name changed) was wrestling with a big question: What could happen if Christians in Nigeria were equipped to work together effectively?

He had seen how a lack of unity could hold back God's purposes in communities with little access to the gospel. He came to VisionSynergy's Regional Summit carrying that concern and looking for a real, concrete way forward.

Then he began to see the challenge differently.

Through the Summit, Emeka discovered practical frameworks for collaboration. “I now recognize my role: helping mobilize Champions and Facilitators around a shared vision for our nation.”

His burden became a vision for building networks of leaders who can work together to reach unreached people and places across Nigeria.

Praise God for the ways He continues to use collaborative networks to advance the Great Commission in some of the world's most difficult places.

At a recent three-day gathering of collaborative leaders serving in a highly restricted context, believers shared about their experiences serving in communities that can be difficult to reach.

Leaders heard about the challenges, the importance of faithful presence, and the ways God is working through relationships built over time. For some, the stories brought a new perspective. For others, they were a reminder that they’re not serving alone.

We’re grateful for the courage of those serving in difficult places and for the opportunity to gather leaders around the same table. Please pray for strength, wisdom, and protection for those serving in complex, high-security environments.

Across East Asia, September is a season of gathering. In Korea, families come together for Chuseok. Across China and other parts of East Asia, communities celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

These are meaningful opportunities to gather around food, family, gratitude, and remembrance.

Please pray for believers and Kingdom workers serving in these communities. Pray for open doors, meaningful conversations, and courage to share the hope of Jesus with those around them.

May God use these everyday moments of gathering to draw people to Himself.

At the end of a recent Network Journey Workshop in South Asia, a group of local leaders huddled together to figure out what they could actually do next. They came up with a bold 90-day plan: start a local missionary school.

They had begun to see their calling differently. As one leader put it: "A missionary is not the one who crosses the sea, but he or she is the one who sees the cross."

For them, that meant realizing they didn’t have to look beyond their own region to find places that needed the gospel. They could train and send local missionaries to unreached villages right around them.

They called the school their Limited Achievable Objective - a concrete, measurable step they could take together.

Women who choose to follow Jesus in many parts of the world often face persecution behind closed doors - rejection from family, forced marriage, abuse, isolation, and pressure to abandon their faith. Some are even confined to their homes or treated as mentally ill because of their decision to follow Christ.

As we work to equip leaders in some of the hardest and least-reached places in the world, we also want to intentionally invest in women leaders. The Church needs women courageously living out the gospel and working together collaboratively in their communities.

Please pray for women facing persecution today:

-for protection and endurance
-for encouragement and community
-for bold faith in difficult circumstances
-and for more women to be equipped to lead and make Christ known

Who’s missing from the table?

It’s an easy question to overlook in a room full of people.

But at a recent gathering of collaborative leaders serving in a highly restricted context, participants took a closer look at who was represented… and who wasn’t.

They realized there were voices, experiences, and perspectives still missing from the conversation - and that matters. When people from different backgrounds come together, they see challenges differently, bring new ideas, and find creative ways forward.

So they’re asking a bigger question: Who else needs to be at the table?

Please pray for wisdom as these leaders continue making room for new voices and building relationships across cultures and countries.

A devastating flood along the Nepal-China border has left at least 95 people dead and hundreds missing. Rescue teams are still searching for those who are stranded or unaccounted for, while communities face significant, historic loss and destruction.

Please pray for those who have lost loved ones, those still waiting for news, and our ministry leaders and friends in Nepal and China. Pray for their safety and for opportunities to help those affected.
