The devotees sang beautiful kirtan, heard stories from Srila Gurudev about the boy with great faith who brought the umbrella ☂️ with him when the village went to pray for rain, and how saranagati (surrender) is the first step before having faith.

The devotees danced under the summer sky, spread the message of Mahaprabhu to newcomers, and took delicious prasadam in the forest grove nearby.

Srila Gurudev arrived today in the USA 🇺🇸 in Boston! 🙏 We’re so grateful for his blessing the USA with nectarian harikatha and his sublime presence. This evening was filled with lovely kirtan, nectarian harikatha on Snana Yatra (Bathing) of Lord Jagannath, and the glories of sadhu sangha (associating with sadhus and pure devotees), as well as siddha pranali, the process of perfection in bhakti yoga and attaining realization of one’s true identity. Devotees were pleased to greet him after many years since him coming (2010).

🪷 “Hari-katha is like the Ganges that flows without stopping.”

The sacred Ganga flows day and night, through every season, without asking who is qualified to receive her mercy. She simply continues her journey, purifying all who come in contact with her.

In the same way, genuine hari-katha continuously flows from the hearts of pure devotees. It is not a temporary inspiration or a collection of ideas. It is an eternal current of transcendental sound, carrying the mercy of Sri Guru, Gauranga, and Sri Sri Radha-Krsna.

Just as countless souls have bathed in the Ganga and found purification, countless souls have been transformed by hearing hari-katha. The current never stops. The question is only whether we are willing to come and place ourselves in its flow.

Srila Gurudeva often speaks for hours, yet the stream of hari-katha seems inexhaustible. This is because its source is not the material mind, but the unlimited ocean of divine truth.

In the same way that a child may leave their father and mother, but the parents will never stop loving that child, a disciple may leave their guru, but that guru will never abandon their disciple.

With this understanding we can develop firm faith and trust in the love that bonds the disciple to the guru, for they are our ever well wisher, do not see our faults, and will tolerate us like a baby.
