The 2026 Legislative Session has officially come to a close! This was certainly a challenging year with many highs and lows, but together we made some real progress for WA kids and families, like passage of the Millionaires Tax and the WA Thriving Strategic Plan.

Early learning is facing significant cuts in the state budget - and that's not good for kids and families.

Dr. Soleil Boyd, Rian Watt, and Sandra Diaz ask lawmakers to "Protect WCCC, stop cutting early learning programs and pass the “millionaires tax.” in this Seattle Times op-ed.
