Huge thanks to the Seattle Seahawks for welcoming Compass Housing Alliance back to the Spirit of 12 for a third straight season, and for their unwavering commitment to our community. 💚💙

Here's how Spirit of 12 works: volunteers from twelve local nonprofits sell 50/50 raffle tickets at Seahawks home games. Half of each jackpot goes to one lucky fan, and half supports the partner organizations. Thanks to a generous match from Allen Family Philanthropies, the winners' payout is covered, so the charities keep even more.

Our volunteer crew shined on October 4, ending the day with a big WIN for the Spirit of 12 and a big WIN for the Seahawks! 🎉

Youth homelessness is a real issue in King County. Good to see some policies based on previous successes.

The need could be great: A 2024 count of homelessness in King County found more than 800 young people under the age of 25 living in shelters or outside.

We have an exciting opportunity to help Compass get back into the business of building affordable housing! We are looking for our next Director of Housing Development!

In this role, you will be working in the Compass Housing Alliance division of LCSNW. The Director of Housing Development leads the agency’s real estate development program, guiding projects from initial strategy through financing, construction, and stabilization. In partnership with the divisional president, this role would oversee the multi-year development pipeline, manage complex affordable housing financing, and ensure all projects advance Compass’s mission to provide safe, dignified housing options. By advancing a steady pipeline of projects, this position enables the Compass Housing division and LCSNW to deliver housing across multiple states that supports community stability and long-term well-being.
