Hip-hop multi-hyphenate DJ Sean Malik(S. Malik ) made his break at 15 years old (under the name DJ Acsean) on a Roland TR505 with a near 7 minute song, "The Times", on the "Frontliners '87" compilation record by the Black United Front activist group. After his start as the DJ and producer of DI-RA ("Devastating Interesting Rap Alliance"), DJ Sean Malik has continued his work as an artist, producer, writer, DJ, on-air personality in hip-hop, and was even asked to open for Run-DMC(while attending a show).
