Today, we honor the extraordinary life and legacy of Dolores Huerta, whose courage, leadership, and belief in the power of every voice inspired generations.

A Girl Scout for 10 years with Troop 8 in Stockton, California, Dolores carried the values of service and community throughout her life. Her legacy reminds every Girl Scout to use her voice and believe in her power to create change.

🍂 As the weather cools down, Girl Scouts across our council are heading outdoors for one of the most beloved Girl Scout traditions: camping! From weekends at Camp Honi Hanta to adventures at Camp Caloosa, girls are building confidence, strengthening friendships, and discovering all the fun that comes with life at camp.

On October 31, Girl Scouts will honor the birthday of founder Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low, whose vision launched a movement that has empowered girls for more than a century.

What began with 18 girls in Savannah, Georgia, in 1912 has grown into a global sisterhood of leaders, innovators, adventurers, and changemakers. As Founder's Day approaches, we look forward to celebrating Daisy's legacy and the impact Girl Scouts continue to make in communities across our council and beyond.
