All of our CMI "children" are special. When they suffer, we suffer. CMI is facing some serious needs presently. First, our brother Wycliffe (pictured) of the Lwanda Lwanda Church of Christ almost died from very high sugar. Thankfully he is stable now, though he is learning to like the new food he must eat to control his diabetes. The doctors did a wonderful job saving his life, but now they want to be paid before he can be released from the hospital. CMI needs $2000 to cover these expenses. As brother Wycliffe says, "it is cheaper than a funeral" and much more to be preferred. On another note, the Eastside Church of Christ has been thrown out of their building because they could not pay the increased rent. Much of their AV equipment was also confiscated due to some unpaid bills. This church and Brother Zacharia Ouma Oduor has reported 100 baptisms this year. Now they are homeless. The answers are not easy. They do have an opportunity to buy some land, but no funds to do so. Besides this, CMI is short on meeting all of our obligations for the month of October. As you can see, these "children" are suffering greatly. Please consider an extra gift or a new gift to CMI to help us meet these needs. Either contribute online at cmiministries.org or send checks to CMI 7362 Palomino Lane Sarasota, FL. 34241.

CMI carries no debt and all our September commitments have been met. But our reserves are dry. The needs are real and many are urgent. We have come too far to look back.

Join us in rejoicing with Brother Edwin, who reported three baptisms yesterday (9/27/26) at the Lakeview Homabay Church in western Kenya. 🙌

Yes, most of us are feeling the pinch of higher prices but imagine living in a poverty-stricken area of the world with over 50% unemployment. Please consider becoming a recurring donor to Central Missions International. Or please consider a generous one-time gift so that we can complete September and have enough for October. For large donors and churches, please contact us for a conversation. There are many investment opportunities awaiting funding in Kenya and Pakistan. God bless, Rod Myers

For years I have struggled to understand in a practical sense how God sanctifies a person holistically, body, soul, and spirit. I am not saying I have learned the right combination, but I am thinking that God works through the decisions we make in ordering out lives by inclusion and exclusion. What we include will often determine what we exclude, creating an environment in which sanctification can occur. See what you think of the decisions represented in this diagram. I would love your feedback.
