We're ending the year with a bang! Our last meeting will be in-person with Misty Jones presenting her program "Posing Women for Beautiful Portraits." No matter what genre you photograph, if you work with women, you don't want to miss this!

Happy New Year!

We ended 2024 in December with a banquet at Cinebistro. It was a lot of fun and a great way to wrap up the year.

Congratulations to Michael Landes for winning Photographer of the Year! David Graham placed second.

Sylwia Ok was presented with the President's Award for tirelessly managing our finances and crafting our newsletters.

New this year was the BPPA Ambassador Award. Presented to Gigi O'Dea for her incredible contributions to BPPA and her outstanding work with PPA sets a standard of excellence we all admire.

I know many of you were busy with business, family, and holiday issues so thank you so much for the people that could attend. We missed those of you who couldn't make it.

Looking forward to a great year with the guild!

Our final program of the year from Bill Cadzow was outstanding! Bill walked us through Lighting techniques in challenging situations - whether we are photographing families, seniors or weddings. Thank you Bill for another great presentation - we all not only enjoyed it, but learned so much.

Last week, Luis Paez tragically lost his life in Palm Beach. As the President of the Florida Professional Photographers (FPP), he was a steadfast advocate for education, always giving selflessly, uplifting and encouraging those who shared his passion for photography.

His impact was profound, not only to the members of our guild but to the entire FPP community. He will be deeply missed.
