Two Habitat Sarasota homeowners received an incredible surprise!

As two single mothers prepared to move into their Habitat Sarasota homes, they were overjoyed to learn they had been selected for Warrick Dunn Charities Homes for the Holidays program, transforming their houses into fully furnished homes.

A heartfelt thank-you to Warrick Dunn and his team for creating welcoming spaces filled with comfort, dignity, and hope. This generous gift makes an already special milestone even more meaningful for these mothers and their children.

Habitat Sarasota is proud to help families achieve homeownership and create lasting memories in a place of their own.

Estate planning helps ensure the people, pets, and causes closest to your heart are cared for in the way you wish. It can also be an opportunity to make a lasting difference in your community.

Our friends from Bank of America recently joined Habitat Sarasota for a team build, bringing a local family one step closer to affordable homeownership.

One of the day’s most special moments was when volunteers wrote heartfelt messages for the future homeowner on the kitchen wall. Soon the cabinets will cover them, but those words will remain part of the home for years to come, a lasting reminder of the many hands and hearts behind it.

Thank you to our Bank of America volunteers for giving your time, sharing your talents, and helping make a difference for a local family. 💙

Behind every repair is a family with a story.

For this Sarasota family of six, a failing air conditioner meant temperatures inside their home climbed into the 80s while electric bills kept rising.

Through Habitat Sarasota's Critical Home Repair program, they received a new HVAC system and ductwork.

Now they can enjoy a cool, comfortable home, a good night's sleep, and sunshine streaming through open blinds.

Thank you to our generous donors for helping Sarasota homeowners remain safe and comfortable in the homes they love.
