GOOD TROUBLE: A Monthly Gallery & Gathering Space
Brews, local art, and real conversation. Join us for a monthly drop-in gallery and gathering space hosted at the 925 Maddox Gallery & LGBTQIA+ Center, celebrating local trans, q***r, and disabled creators.
Whether you need a cozy spot to work
remotely, want to browse local art, or hope to connect with neighbors and community partners, there is a seat at the table for you. Drop in for 20 minutes or stay for the whole afternoon. Admission is 100% free and open to all.
What to Expect:
• “Spilled Tea” & Coffee Bar: Free specialty coffee, a great selection of teas, and cozy brews available while you visit
• Featured Art Gallery: Rotating gallery walls showcasing work, prints, and pieces from local trans, q***r, and disabled artists (70% of sales go directly to the artist, 30% supports center operations)
• VOLUME Retail Space: An independent community-driven retail space amplifying physical output from local creators
• Collaborative Canvas: Add your mark to our monthly community art piece with markers, paint, or zine sheets
• Low-Key Vibe: Good music, comfortable seating, high-speed Wi-Fi, and low-pressure conversation starters
Schedule:
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Afternoon Remote Lounge: Quiet space to work, study, or read
• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Civic & Community Meet: Connect with local partners, leaders, allies, and neighbors
• 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | After-Hours Social & Artist Spotlight: Upbeat tunes and vibrant gallery energy to wind down your day
Accessibility & Space Care:
• Fully wheelchair accessible entrance, main floor space, and restrooms
• All-gender restrooms on-site
• Open to all ages and allies
