Meet Dragonfly, one of Emma’s eight beautiful puppies!

Dragonfly is SOOOOO sweet and has the kind of personality that makes you want to scoop him up and keep him forever.

He loves his brothers and sisters and is always ready for a good puppy wrestling match. If one of his siblings isn’t paying enough attention to him, Dragonfly has a solution…

He loves to jump on his siblings to get them to play, and he’s always ready to join in on the fun.

Dragonfly is also a little nibble monster. He likes to use his mouth to explore the world, so he needs some gentle redirection — and thankfully, he does really well with it! He’s a smart little guy who is learning what’s okay to chew and what isn’t.

Sweet, playful, affectionate and just a tiny bit mischievous, Dragonfly is ready to find the family who will love his big puppy personality and help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.

🐾❤️ WHEN NON-PROFITS COME TOGETHER, LIVES ARE SAVED! ❤️🐾

When Carson Animal Care Center DACC reached out to let us know that the amazing team at Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue was ready to step up and save a group of adorable puppies exposed to parvovirus, but needed a little logistics and financial assistance, Old Blue Inc. didn’t hesitate to say YES! ❤️

Time was critical, and thanks to some incredible teamwork, these little lives got the help they needed!

Our very own Molly Zbojniewicz quickly jumped into action, coordinating with Carson volunteer Janeth, who went above and beyond! With Uber rides, help from friends, and lots of determination, Janeth and her crew transported the puppies from the shelter to the vet, waited while they received parvovirus antibodies and fluids, and then safely delivered them to rescue. 🐶💕

👏 A HUGE THANK YOU to for stepping up without hesitation! Their quick response and willingness to take in these vulnerable puppies gave them the chance they desperately needed. This is what rescue is all about!

These precious babies are now safe, growing stronger, and hopefully staying parvo-free! 🙏❤️

Hopper is feisty, fun and full of puppy energy. His favorite activity? PLAYING!

He loves playing with his brothers and sisters, and he doesn’t believe in letting anyone sleep for too long. If everyone else is curled up taking a nap, Hopper has a very important job to do…

If you’re looking for the sweetest little puppy in the bunch , look no further. Meet Junebug!

Junebug is one of Emma’s eight beautiful puppies, and honestly… she’s pretty close to perfect.

She is the sweetest, gentlest little girl who absolutely lives to be held. Pick her up and she is perfectly content soaking up all the love and attention she can get.

Junebug also has a serious love for soft toys! Give her a favorite toy and she’ll happily take it off to a quiet corner, curl up with it and enjoy it all by herself. She’s independent enough to entertain herself, but when a human comes along, she’s more than happy to trade that toy for some cuddles.

She’s sweet, affectionate, playful and just an all-around wonderful puppy. Out of all of Emma’s babies, Junebug is definitely the one who makes you want to scoop her up and never put her down.

Her mama, Emma, fought through unimaginable trauma to give her eight babies a chance at life. Now this sweet girl deserves a family who will cherish her and give her the loving forever home she’s been waiting for.

SENIOR ALERT!!!

Forever Home Wanted: Meet Franklin – A Gentle Senior Labrador!

Franklin is an eight-year-old, 72-pound Ch*****ne English Lab who spent his life shut away in a shed before being rescued. Despite that heartbreaking start, he is one of the sweetest, most loyal companions you could ever meet.

Franklin is fully potty trained, never destructive, and has excellent leash manners. He loves his daily walks around the neighborhood and golf course, carried along by his special harness when his back legs need a little support. Franklin has arthritis in his hips and back, so he’ll do best in a single-story home—ideally with carpet to help with traction. He would benefit from a family who can assist him when needed, though he’s shown that with his medication, he often requires much less help than you might expect.

This mellow boy has low-to-moderate energy—he adores short strolls and squeaky plush toys but spends much of his day napping happily at his foster’s side. He is the ultimate Velcro dog, always following his person from room to room. Franklin sleeps peacefully through the night (even in your bed if you allow it) and has perfect house manners. He’s also a gentleman with grooming: nail trims, baths, brushing, even ear and teeth cleaning are a breeze. In fact, he loves baths so much he once fell asleep during one!

Franklin is great with children, curious but calm around parrots, and would likely do best with a submissive dog if he shares his home. He is food-motivated, takes treats gently, and is already learning new commands like “Come” and “Stay.”

Franklin is looking for a family who will treasure him in his golden years—someone retired or working from home who wants a loyal shadow by their side. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a home full of love, comfort, and companionship.

Gracie Lou is a gorgeous young black Lab mix, possibly with a touch of Greyhound or another tall, lanky breed. At just 1–2 years old, her long legs and soulful eyes turn heads everywhere she goes.

She’s people-friendly, dog-friendly, and eager to learn. Gracie Lou is strong and energetic, so she’ll thrive with a confident handler who can continue the training she’s already started. She’s incredibly treat-motivated, making training fun, rewarding, and a great way to build a lasting bond.

Meet Harold!

Harold is a young boy, estimated to be around a 3 year old or younger, with a wonderfully easygoing personality. He is outgoing and friendly, with a calm side—a great combination for such a young pup!

Harold is good with other dogs and kids and does well on a leash. While we don’t know if he is fully house-trained yet, he keeps his kennel clean, which is always encouraging.

He loves to play, enjoys being around people, and is ready to trade kennel life for a home of his own. Harold would love a foster home while he waits, but what he really hopes to find is a family who will make him part of theirs forever.

Meet Heidi!

Our best guess is that this gorgeous girl is a Shepherd/Husky mix with a touch of another medium-sized breed mixed in — and whatever the recipe, it sure made one amazing dog!

Heidi is a 1-year-old sweetheart who is affectionate, intelligent, potty trained, and eager to bond with her people. She is dog-friendly with dogs of all sizes and absolutely wonderful with kids. She bonds quickly and simply wants to be close to the people she loves.

This girl is as athletic as they come and can be a bit of an escape artist. Heidi can easily scale a 5-foot fence, so her forever family will need secure, tall fencing and a commitment to keeping this clever girl safely contained.

Heidi does have some separation anxiety, so she will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Another playful, confident canine companion would be a wonderful bonus, but it isn’t a deal breaker.

Her perfect family will understand that Heidi may need a little time to decompress, feel safe, and settle into her new surroundings. But once she knows she is loved and can trust her people, she gives that love right back tenfold.

Heidi is the kind of dog who wants to be your best friend, your adventure buddy, and your constant companion. She has so much love to give and is ready to find the family she can finally call her own.
