🌟 PROMOTION 🌟

Join us in congratulating DARIA LEONTEVA on her promotion to APPRENTICE! 🩰✨

Daria's journey with Golden State Ballet began through the Golden State Ballet Academy, where she trained before joining the company as a trainee at just 16 years old. Now, at 17, she steps into a new chapter as an Apprentice.

“Becoming a trainee with Golden State Ballet at 16 and now being promoted to an apprentice at 17 feels so surreal.”

Last season, working and performing alongside the company challenged Daria to become more adaptable in her dancing and gave her the opportunity to grow within a professional studio and stage environment. Now, she's looking forward to continuing that growth through new experiences and performances throughout the 2026–2027 season.

Read more from Daria—and meet all three of our newly promoted dancers—in “Announcing Our 2026 Dancer Promotions” on the GSB blog. ✨ Link in bio!
