A little snippet from our conversation with Neda Iranpour from CBS 8 San Diego for their Brewing Local series! 💚

We spent about 20 minutes talking all things Brewcycling — how this initiative started, the waste challenges facing our local craft b**r industry, what we’ve been working on, and where we hope to take it next.

Always the best time at Capital of Craft B**r Fest! 🥳🍻🖤 Great b**r, good friends, and a chance to share what we do with the craft b**r community. ♻️ Thank you San Diego Brewers Guild + SD B**r for having us!

We were extra excited to see our Fermenting Change Helles, brewed in collaboration with Societe Brewing Company, pouring at the fest! 🍺♻️ We got to try it ourselves for the first time and it was sooo yummy, crisp and refreshing! 👏🏽❤️‍🔥 And apparently everyone else agreed… the keg kicked before 1:30pm! 🤯🍻

Missed it at the fest? Fermenting Change is now available at Societe taprooms! 🙌🏽

We’ll also be gathering at Societe for a happy hour in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned 👀 we’ll announce the date soon! 🖤🍺♻️

🍺♻️ OUR FERMENTING CHANGE COLLAB BREW IS BACK — AND YOU CAN TRY IT TOMORROW AT CAPITAL OF CRAFT B**R FEST!

Our 2nd annual Fermenting Change b**r releases tomorrow, Saturday 9/19, pouring at the Societe Brewing Company booth! Come say hello 👋 SD Brewcycling will be right next door! ♻️

Last year, Pizza Port Bressi Ranch kicked off Fermenting Change with a delicious IPA. This year, Societe Brewing took the reins and welcomed our BrewSCRAPS community into the brewery to make a refreshing Helles! ❤️🍺

We brewed, talked trash (literally 😅), shared Brewcycling updates, and celebrated BIG progress: we’re finally testing a transportation pilot with Plastic Beach to help move the hard-to-recycle plastics collected through BrewSCRAPS! 🚛♻️🙏🏼

Another reminder that collaboration is key to progress in sustainability. And that’s what Fermenting Change is all about — bringing our community together around GOOD B**R while raising awareness and funds for plastic waste diversion and education in the craft beverage industry. 💚🌎

We had a blast cleaning up around last Sunday! The crew picked up over 300 cigarette butts and lots of wrappers, cups, caps, etc.

Feels good to clean up the neighborhood while raising awareness about Brewcycling’s mission 😁 Wanna join the cause?

Big thanks to everyone who came out to our most recent Fermenting Change cleanup at ! 💚 With your help, we cleared 35 lbs of trash from the surrounding neighborhood — proving once again that small efforts add up in a big way 🌎🗑️

Huge shoutout to The Regal Seagull team for the hospitality (and the pint specials 🍺). Y’all made it a Sunday well spent!

Brewcycling is kicking off Plastic Free July with exciting news: We've just launched a fundraiser for our BrewSCRAPS Transportation Pilot Program! 🚛♻️🍻

This initiative has the potential to double — or even triple — our waste diversion impact in the San Diego b**r industry, helping to keep more plastics out of landfills and our environment. 🍻♻️

Morning After Mess Beach Cleanup 🌊♻️

We’ve been invited by to participate in their Morning After Mess Beach Cleanup and are excited to be hosting the Moonlight Beach site in Encinitas! 🥳

We’ll be setting up tents alongside our friends at from 9am–12pm at Moonlight Beach. We’ll have some cleanup supplies to lend, but we encourage you to bring your own buckets and pickers if you have them!

To celebrate our hard work, we’ll be heading to at 1pm for a pint (or two) of Fermenting Change IPA 😅 a b**r collaboration brewed by and our BrewSCRAPS transportation pilot participants to raise funds and awareness for Brewcycling’s waste diversion efforts 💚
