Introducing Quran Reading 4

IQraa Academy is pleased to let you know that we are adding a new level to our Quran reading program: Quran Reading 4. This level is intended for students who can easily recite from the mushaf: joining the letters/words, proper pronunciation of letters and reads the harakat. (Generally, those students who have read 3-5 ajzaa with us.)

In this new level, the goal is to introduce all BASIC rules of tajweed. Through the lessons students will be able to understand and name the rule, know how the rule is applied/said, and recognize which letters are included in this rule. (While all our lessons are taught with proper tajweed, this is a more formal introduction of the rules at a basic level.)

To facilitate this level, students will use the books, “Tajweed Rules of the Quran” by Kareema Czerepinski. Students will learn the main idea of each rule. As with all our lessons, the pace is invidually based. Only one rule will be introduced at a time and students will move on once they know the rule well.
