COMPAS COMPAS is a nationally-recognized provider of arts education programs that power imaginations, learning and life.

COMPAS (Community Programs in the Arts) helps connect individuals through the arts. COMPAS Teaching Artists provide residencies, workshops and performances to communities throughout Minnesota. We work at schools, community and recreation centers, hospitals, clinics, festivals, senior centers and much more. In addition, COMPAS youth programs provide opportunities for young people to gain valuable arts and employment skills each summer!

TONIGHT (Friday): Hang out and get creative with the dude in the video: COMPAS Teaching Artist Benjamin Domask-Ruh!

Tomorrow (Saturday): COMPAS TA Jen Scott will be on hand with creativity in the morning, and TA Evie Digirolamo later in the afternoon and evening.

It's all happening at Rice Park in downtown Saint Paul. Just steps away from the Ordway.

Come hang out with us at the Flint Hills Family Festival! (Rice Park in downtown Saint Paul. Just steps away from the Ordway.) We'll be there all week (May 27-30).

Each day of the festival, COMPAS Teaching Artists and Performers will celebrate creativity with a new opportunity to explore many art forms: everything from Circus Arts to Indian Impermanent Art to button-making.

We're hiring Teaching Artists who are writers, filmmakers, photographers, graphic designers, and animators!

Bring your craft into schools, museums, libraries, and communities across Minnesota.

We're especially looking for Literary Teaching Artists and Digital and Electronic Media Teaching Artists with community-based arts or teaching artist experience.

We strongly encourage artists who identify as Native, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities to apply. We also encourage artists living in Greater Minnesota, beyond the metro area, to apply.
