IT'S TODAY! It's not too late to join in on the event today! If you are planning to come, and know that you are free to come and go whenever you feel like it! We still need a couple of more volunteers for this event to help with DeafBlind folks. If you are available and have no plans, swing by! For volunteers, if you are a student at school and are in ITP or taking ASL class, bring your school ID to confirm that you are a student so you can get in for FREE! It will be at Dendros Group. Message or email me at [email protected] to get the address! It will be from 1 pm to 430 pm for games, 5 to 6 for dinner. Cash only! Look forward to touching you all there today! Update on this upcoming election:

Due to concerns about very severe temps this weekend as well as ICE activity, the Board has decided to cancel Saturday's meeting and will reschedule soon; probably end of Feb or early March. MDBA members and interpreters for the meeting were informed this morning. We just wanted to share on the listservs to be clear with the DB community.

After a new date is decided (very soon), the board will announce for new RSVPs to attend (members only, so if you are not currently a member, you have time to become one!) and re-open nominations for president and up to four members-at-large/trustees. Information will be sent out again.

MDBA will have upcoming election this Saturday January 24th from 1 pm to 4 pm at Dendros Group. The positions that are up for: President, Treasurer and two members at large. It's not too late to come and show up. It's also included general meeting as well so it's open to public for nonmembers and members to come. I encourage you all to come! Thank you--MDBA board team. I hope that you all have a good week. MDBA Banquet committees are excited to announce that we are bringing the banquet back! It had been paused since COVID-19 impacted. We are now working and planning to bring it back! I have attached the information for you on the flyer. The image description will be posted under the comment. We are sending a SAVE THE DATE for everyone who wants to attend. More information will be released soon!

Good morning, everyone! VP Sammie here.

Today's big day! Protactile Cookout! Rain or shine!
We are looking forward to meeting you there today and enjoying the time together, and learning about the experiences of protactile! We are accepting last-minute show-ups. If you change your mind, admission will be $ 20 at the door. We are only accepting cash at the door in person at the moment.

Hidden Falls Park and Recreation: 1313 Hidden Falls Dr, St Paul, MN 55116, 10 am to 8 pm. We will probably wrap up late in the afternoon. Lunch will be served around 12 pm. Touch you all there!
