Silent Auction, Garage Sale, and Cookout!

Time: 10 AM to 2 PM

Location: Pleasant View Deaf Assembly (PVDA) at 7901 Pleasant View Dr NE Minneapolis, MN 55432

Admission: FREE

Cookout: $5.00 (per person) for a hamburger, hot dog, or grilled cheese, served with chips and a drink.

Free for MDBA members and volunteers. Please RSVP to receive your free lunch.

Payment: Cash, Check, Debit/Credit Card accepted.

The Minnesota DeafBlind Association (MDBA) would like to extend our sincere thanks to Deaf Equity for the opportunity to partner on the Community Cookout held on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

The event was filled with community connection, delicious food, local vendors, an ice cream truck, and many opportunities to socialize and enjoy the day together. It was wonderful to see so many people come together in such a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We are especially grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Deaf Equity to help make the event accessible for the DeafBlind community. We were thrilled to welcome 13 DeafBlind community members who attended and participated throughout the day.

Thank you, Deaf Equity, for your partnership, hospitality, and commitment to creating an inclusive community event. We look forward to future opportunities to work together!
