Minnesota Youth Collective

Minnesota Youth Collective To young people, "Minnesota Nice" is more than just a catchphrase. We fight for the freedom to make our own choices and pursue our dreams. We’re everywhere.

We empower the next generation of leaders to take our rightful seat at the decision-making table, elect people who reflect our values, and shape legislation to better the lives of Minnesotans. We demand it from our politics – respect, justice, and accountability for all people regardless of what they look like, where they're from, or who they love. We have strength in numbers and know that by working together we can create a better Minnesota for everyone. We face huge challenges as a generation – from overwhelming student loan debt; to racism, sexism, and greed woven throughout our economy and society; to climate chaos that threatens our way of life. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Young people are now the largest age group in Minnesota. We have serious power, and we’re ready to use it.

What’s one of the best ways to let us know the issues you care about? Filling out a pledge card! 📋 Completing a pledge card allows us to use the issue survey results to build our policy platforms each year. Not only do they determine the work we do but they also bring you in to the work you’re passionate about with tailored volunteer opportunities! ✨

Visit our bio to fill out your pledge card online or catch us at an event or tabling opportunity to fill one out in person! 🌟

August 13th is primary Election Day! It’s also the date of our next collective meeting! Why? Because we know how stressful this election cycle has been for our base and we want to give you all a space to process these big feelings with community! 🌟

We’ll be sharing food, making personal and shared vision boards, and will even have stuff for tie dying! This event isn’t focused on discussing the election but if you hit the polls before stopping by, make sure to bring your I Voted sticker to be entered into the raffle! ✨

SAVE THE DATE for our August Collective Meeting! 🌟 Keep an eye out for more info as we get closer!
