✨ Make your own German lantern at the G*I! ✨

Get ready for Laternenfest with a fun, hands-on Laternen-Bastelworkshop on Saturday, October 24 from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Children ages 4–11 are invited to create their own lantern while learning about the German tradition of Laternenumzüge, or lantern walks. All supplies are included, along with a reusable electric light stick to make your lantern glow!

- G*I Members: $29 per parent & child
- Non-Members: $39 per parent & child
- Additional child/lantern: $20

Then bring your lantern back to the G*I for Laternenfest on November 6!

🎬 Tickets are now live for the Twin Cities German Film Festival!

Do you want to help bring contemporary German-language cinema to our community? The G*I is seeking $500 festival sponsors to support this celebration of film. Film festival sponsorships are open through October 12!

Sponsorship includes:

- Your name and logo on promotional materials, the festival event page, and on screen before film showings
- Recognition in G*I social media promotions
- The opportunity to introduce one film, available on a first-come basis
- Five tickets to a film of your choice
