The purpose of The Salvation Army's St. Paul Citadel Corps has always been to warmly guide families and individuals into a loving relationship with God, whose love inspires us every day. Our caring pastors, Majors Fred & Nancy Mead, are excited to invite you to join us for worship and fellowship, where everyone is welcomed with open arms. Sunday School: Sunday - 10:00 AM

The Citadel Community Center includes a professional-size basketball court used by our youth and community groups. SOCIAL SERVICES

This week, we pray for the Caribbean Territory. The Salvation Army Caribbean Territory comprises 16 countries and territories:
• Antigua and Barbuda
• The Bahamas
• Barbados
• Belize
• French Guiana
• Grenada
• Guyana
• Haiti
• Jamaica
• Saint Kitts and Nevis
• Saint Lucia
• Sint Maarten
• Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
• Suriname
• Trinidad and Tobago
• Turks and Caicos Islands

The leaders of this territory have shared the following points to guide us as we pray:

We praise God for His goodness and mercy as the Territory continues to experience natural disasters, including hurricanes, earthquakes, and other extreme weather. We also thank God for friends, families, and strangers across the International Salvation Army and beyond who responded in love and fervent prayer when the Territory faced natural disasters.

We thank God for the wisdom and leadership of our Officers, which has led to the successful implementation of soul-winning, saints-growing, and humanity-serving initiatives at all levels across the Territory.

We pray for the Caribbean Territory Congress 2027, with the International Leaders of The Salvation Army, February 19th – March 1st 2027. Pray for God to be glorified and exalted, and for Salvationists across the Territory to be encouraged by the ministry and presence of our International Leaders. During these activities, The Salvation Army will celebrate 140 years of ministry and service in the Caribbean.

Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom as the Territory moves with focus and intentionality to achieve IFAS goals and objectives.

We pray for a spirit of cohesiveness at all levels for the unified aim of advancing the work of the Lord and the mission of The Salvation Army across the Territory.

And we pray for God’s wisdom to guide the movement and entry of Officers (various nationalities) across the 16 countries which make up the Territory. May we be aware of and comply with the Immigration and labor laws that govern the movement and employment of personnel in each country.

🔔Did you know the Red Kettle tradition began in 1891? Salvation Army Captain Joseph McFee placed a donation pot at the Oakland Ferry Landing to help provide a Christmas meal for people in need. More than 130 years later, that simple idea continues to make a difference in communities across the country.

Today, Red Kettle donations help The Salvation Army provide food, gasoline aid, utility assistance and other essential services to neighbors in need throughout the year.

Flash floods devastated communities along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river corridors, destroying homes, businesses, roads, and bridges. According to information shared by The Salvation Army’s Nepal Region, more than 1,400 people have died, and more than 6,000 remain missing.

Despite extremely difficult access, The Salvation Army has delivered emergency assistance to Syabrubesi, one of the hardest-hit areas.

📍Assessments in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts have identified continuing needs for temporary shelter, household items, warm clothing, blankets, and other winterization support as colder weather approaches.

🏠 Plans are also being developed to support around 300 households with longer-term shelter solutions as families begin rebuilding their homes, livelihoods and sense of security.

Recovery will take time, but The Salvation Army in Nepal is committed to walking alongside affected communities. Let's continue to pray for Nepal. 🇳🇵

Yesterday, St. Paul mayor Kaohly Her and other community leaders joined Salvation Army officers, staff and volunteers for the dedication of Hope Market - a new food pantry at the West 7th Salvation Army in St. Paul.
Hope Market will serve hundreds of local families, providing a more welcoming and inviting way to help meet the needs of the community. It’s a place where individuals and families can pick out the food they need, creating a shopping experience that promotes choice, dignity, and hope.

Programs like Hope Market make a meaningful difference in the community.
