4th in the Park

4th in the Park Annual July 4th parade and picnic in St. Paul's St. Anthony Park neighborhood—the capital city's only 4th of July parade.

The colorful and eclectic parade winds along Como Avenue to historic Langford Park at 11 a.m., followed by speeches, food, music, pony rides, races, and tournaments from noon to 4 p.m. The Fourth in the Park begins with annual 2-mile and 4-mile runs at 8:30 a.m., starting from the Langford Park Recreation Center. We had a fabulous July 4th at 4th in the Park—a full day of fun, sun, and community (with no rain, thankfully! ☀️).

This event costs nearly $30,000 to put on each year, and while we’re so grateful to our sponsors & donors, we’re still short of our goal.
