Join us for an opening celebration of our new exhibitions on May 29 from 7-9 PM!
Celebrate 2025 Gibbs Street Resident, LaChaun Moore showcasing new work in "Born Fee." Working with cotton, gourds, found and familial textiles, and sonic composition; Moore
transforms familiar cultural forms into environments of reflection and an encounter shaped
through the body, sound, and spatial positioning, informed by garment construction and forms that hold and contour the body.
Solo artist, Chau Nguyen, presents "Sensing Ground" in Common Ground Gallery. Through installation, conceptual, and video art, Nguyen invite viewers to engage with the complexities of diasporic belonging, the ethics of cultural ownership, and the shifting role of technology in the preservation of memory.
View "Frame & Frequency X" in Kaplan Gallery. Featuring work by Dawn Whitmore, Sara Koppel, Jessye McDowell, Liz Trosper, and João Krefer, the exhibition brings together artists working across immersive installation, animation, digital painting, and video.
Another iteration of Frame & Frequency in Concourse Gallery, Liquid Territories, features work by Mark McLeod, Jonathan Monaghan, Felipe Castelblanco, Leigh Davis, Dwayne LeBlanc, and Kissel Hiram Bravo Hernández. Working across sound, video, sculpture, and installation, the exhibition explores the unstable terrains that shape contemporary life: extractive economies, mythic histories, technological power, migration, grief, and the porous boundaries between memory and imagination.
