Explore a quarter century of change along Rockville Pike!

Chances are you have driven on Rockville Pike, to do errands, shop, or go to a restaurant. Have you ever passed a pile of rubble and wondered what used to be there?

Twenty-five years ago, the Park Inn motel, the Allied Plywood lumber yard, and the White Flint Mall bordered the Pike. Since then, Mid-Pike Plaza became Pike & Rose, and Fuddruckers became Tesla. Join Peerless Rockville as we welcome local resident Mollie Habermeier sharing before and after photographs from the last 25 years of these places and others. See what has changed and what hasn’t in this illustrated presentation.

Maryland Teachers + Administrators! 📣 Strengthen civic education for students through firsthand learning experiences.

Maryland Humanities and the MD Two Fifty Commission are accepting applications for their Where History Lives: Field Trip Program. 🏛️

This program provides funding to support middle school field trips to museums, historic sites, and parks across the state, connecting students with Maryland's rich + complex history.

Funding will cover transportation + admission, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
