Freedom is more than a moment in history—it’s a movement we continue to honor and protect every day.

This Juneteenth, we recognize the strength, resilience, and enduring legacy of Black communities. We celebrate progress, reflect on the work still ahead, and stand in solidarity for equity, healing, and justice.

At Tree of Hope, we believe recovery and freedom go hand in hand—everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.

Tree of Hope's office will be closed on Friday, June 19th, in honor of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth stands as a sacred marker in the American story—a day when freedom, long delayed, was finally spoken aloud in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865. It honors the resilience of a people who endured the unimaginable and still rose with dignity, culture, faith, and unbreakable hope.

This day is not only a commemoration of emancipation; it is a celebration of the brilliance, creativity, and contributions of African Americans who shaped this nation in every field—arts, science, justice, education, and community.

Juneteenth calls us to remember, but it also calls us to act. It reminds us that freedom is a living promise, one that must be protected, expanded, and honored for every generation. As we celebrate, we recommit ourselves to justice, equity, and the ongoing work of liberation.

Today, we honor our ancestors. We uplift our communities. We celebrate freedom.

Who am I without it? might be the most important question in recovery. 🌱 Substances don't just alter brain chemistry — they become wrapped in identity, social life, coping, even personality. Rebuilding yourself is not starting over. It's finally starting. 💙

What helped YOU find yourself in recovery?

Recovery Is Real, and so is the courage it takes to share your story. ❤️

Thank you, Anny for opening your heart and reminding us that healing is possible one day at a time your journey is powerful, inspiring, and prove that no one is alone in this

And a special shout out to Louis for capturing this moment so beautifully and helping us share this message with our community.

Men’s Mental Health Month is a reminder that strength isn’t silence.

Checking in, speaking up, and asking for help are all signs of courage—not weakness.

Let’s break the stigma and create space for real conversations.
Because every man deserves support, healing, and hope. 💙

A growing number of young people are asking:

“Do I actually need alcohol to enjoy my life?”

This shift — often called the “sober curious” movement — is being led by Gen Z. And it’s not just a trend. It’s backed by data, changing values, and a deeper awareness of mental health.

Are you Sober Curious? 👀

'Relapse is not the end of the story. It's often just a chapter.' 📖

Recovery is not a straight line. Progress is not always visible. Healing happens in spirals — and sometimes what looks like going backward is actually going deeper. 💙 Keep going.
