Southern Baptists gave $286.1 million through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering®—showing a heart for reaching the world with the gospel! 🙌

That includes $212.5 million through Lottie Moon—the highest total in IMB history.

With more than 1,600 IMB missionary applicants, our generation has an unprecedented opportunity to send missionaries to the most unreached peoples and places. Your generosity helps missionaries face challenges and continue sharing the gospel.

Thank you, Southern Baptists, for your faithfulness to the Great Commission and for holding the ropes with your support!

Jordan and Nicole Bosworth, along with their two daughters, are packing up life in Georgia to move to Prague, Czechia, where they'll help churches reach their communities with the gospel in a city where most people don't know Jesus.

Nicole grew up in a Christian home but didn't fully trust in Christ until middle school. During a mission trip, God used John 8:54 to reveal that she had been seeking her own recognition instead of pointing others to Him.

From that moment, God freed her from a missions-centered identity and drew her into a deeper relationship with Christ. Since then, she's served on mission trips in Poland, New York, Nicaragua, Peru and beyond.

Growing up in a small town, Jordan didn’t consider international travel until he and Nicole began dating in college. There his fascination with other cultures grew. But a mission trip to Albania showed him how God works through uncertainty. Just two weeks before their team departed, su***de bombers attacked the Istanbul airport where they were scheduled to connect. After much prayer, the team chose to go, and the airport reopened.

During that trip, they witnessed a young Muslim woman place her faith in Christ despite great personal cost.

Over the past eight years, the Bosworths have seen God use every step of their journey to prepare them for this season. Now, they look forward to serving in Prague, trusting His timing as they begin this next chapter.

Join us for our next Sending Celebration as we continue to send more missionaries to the nations!

You’ve probably heard of the Tuareg — just maybe not for the best reasons.

Being Tuareg doesn’t always come with the best reputation.

Over the years, they’ve been in the news for all sorts of unpopular reasons: some for being mercenaries, others for being part of rebellions in several countries across their home territories, and still others for joining or creating extremist groups. A quick search of their history reveals they were once traders and even raiders across the Sahara.

But this clearly isn’t the entire story. You may know one of the world-renowned Tuareg musical bands, or their beautiful traditional jewelry, like the Taureg Cross.

Whichever version you’ve heard, here’s what matters most: the Tuareg are just like everyone around you in one major way. They need to hear about the saving love of Jesus.

🙏 Pray for the Tuareg to come to know Jesus. Ask that they will be known as the people who bring the gospel across the desert and around the world.

15,000 volunteers are being sent annually through IMB’s growing volunteer pipeline.

During his latest report to IMB trustees, President Paul Chitwood highlighted strengthened relationships with Southern Baptist individuals, churches, associations and state conventions as part of the growth in missions participation.

For Southern Baptists considering how they can become more personally involved in international missions, volunteering provides one pathway to go and serve among the nations.

Sending missionaries is a commitment that extends far beyond the day they leave for the field.

Nearly 40 participants representing 12 Oklahoma Baptists churches gathered for an IMB Sending Church Lab on October 5–6 to explore how their churches can strengthen missionary support.

Hosted at Council Road Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, the lab brought church leaders together to evaluate their missions practices, identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop plans for improvement.

Through conversations and practical exercises, participants considered what it means to take an active role in preparing, sending and caring for missionaries throughout their service.

Because sending missionaries isn't just about helping them get to the field. It's about supporting them while they're there.

Today, that church is still faithfully sharing the gospel.

As the International Mission Board recently honored a new class of missionary emeriti, David reflected on one of the greatest joys of serving in Mexico and Argentina:

“It touches my heart to see how God worked and allowed us to be a part of the formation. And He continues to work in that church.”

For more than four decades, the Boyters planted churches and built lasting friendships while serving in Argentina and Mexico. Their ministry wasn’t measured only in years served—but in lives changed and a church that continue walking in the truth today.

During 42 years of missionary service, David and Ann Boyter helped plant a church in Mexico City.

Even in retirement, their mission continues. David now helps churches organize mission trips and serves alongside Hispanic ministries in South Carolina.

The location changed. The calling didn’t.

🙏 Join us in thanking God for faithful servants like David and Ann and praying for churches around the world that continue sharing the gospel generations after they were planted.

While serving on opposite sides of the globe as IMB Journeymen, Justin and Meredith Sassard each sensed God calling them to long-term missionary service.

"When we realized we wanted to marry each other," they said, "it was no coincidence that God was calling each of us to the nations."

Both grew up in Christian homes and trusted Christ at an early age. Justin drifted from the Lord in high school, but God drew him back during his senior year.

"I felt a joy and an overwhelming weight about the things of God," he said. Through discipleship, an internship with a pastor, and a story about missions in Indonesia, God eventually led him to serve as a Journeyman in Central Asia.

Meredith's parents laid the foundation for her faith, and mentors in college helped her make it her own. Summer and semester-long mission trips opened her eyes to the need for long-term missionaries.

"Following those trips, I would read Scripture and my heart would be burdened for the nations and the unreached," she said.

Their love for the church continued to grow while serving overseas and later in seminary. Now, the Sassards are preparing to serve in Spain, where they will join God's work of planting and strengthening biblically faithful churches.

Join us for our next Sending Celebration as we continue to send more missionaries to the nations!

How can innovation help advance the mission?

Don Barger, IMB director of innovation and artificial intelligence, received the 2026 Excelerate Award from Missio Nexus on Sept. 24.

For Barger, the recognition isn't about technology, or one person. "I realized it was an affirmation not only of my work, but of the work our entire team has been doing," he said.

In a changing world, IMB teams are exploring how emerging technologies can be used wisely to support ministry while keeping people at the center of the work.

A coffee shop. A workplace. Even a phone notification.

In North Africa, Andrew's conversations with his coworker Asher began over coffee and continued at work, even though sharing his faith could bring persecution. On one hard day, a verse on his phone reminded him: "Do not fear, for I am with you" (Isa. 41:10).

The same God is at work in your ordinary places: the break room, the carpool line, the text thread you almost ignored. Where might He be opening a conversation this week?

And when you pray, you join Southern Baptists everywhere in what He's doing in North Africa. You are part of this.

🙏 Pray for Andrew and Asher as their conversations about Christ continue.

Missionary applications to IMB have increased 500% since 2018.

In a changing world, more people are stepping forward to take the gospel to the nations, and they're finding more ways to go.

IMB President Paul Chitwood reported growth among NextGen participants and retirees serving through Masters 55+. Close to 400 global missionary partners have joined IMB teams, and a growing volunteer pipeline now sends 15,000 volunteers each year.

These pathways exist because Southern Baptist churches pray, give and send together. You are part of this.

🙏 Pray for those exploring a call to missions and for the laborers going to the nations.
