Please note that ALAMIS will be undergoing a substantial upgrade that will affect ALAMIS and the MyAuxiliary member portal. 🚧

Timeframe: ALAMIS and the member portal will be unavailable starting at noon ET June 22. ALAMIS is expected to be back up and running on July 6.

How will this upgrade impact members? During this time, membership processing, reports, or payment of dues will not be available. This means that if you call National Headquarters about your member record, we won’t be able to change anything because the system will be down for staff too.

Changes to the MyAuxiliary portal for our members will be minimal.

We’re sorry in advance for the downtime, but we know ALAMIS users will enjoy the new system — a new, more intuitive interface when they log in. 👍

Be the One…

Be the One…

Today is Be the One Day at The American Legion.

The first day of every month is a reminder that one conversation, one text, or one act of compassion can make a difference in someone's life.

Whether you're looking to support a veteran, learn the warning signs, or bring Be the One to your community, resources are available to help.

Together, we can reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and prevent veteran su***de.

The Friday before Memorial Day is National Poppy Day, a day to remember that even the smallest symbol can carry the greatest meaning.

The red poppy stands as a powerful tribute to the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes while also honoring and supporting those who continue to serve and those who have returned home.

Wear your red poppy this National Poppy Day as a visible sign of gratitude, remembrance, and respect for the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave so much for our freedoms.

A virtual training session will take place from 11:30am-1 pm ET this Tuesday, May 19. Learn to identify the signs of a veteran in crisis and then ask the tough questions.

The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. 🇺🇸

On the Friday before Memorial Day, May 22 this year, wear a red poppy to honor the fallen and support the living who have worn our nation's uniform. Learn more about National Poppy Day: www.alaforveterans.org/National-Poppy-Day

The Month of the Military Child, recognized every April, honors the unique challenges, quiet sacrifices, and selfless contributions of children in military families. Through it all, these children show incredible resilience and strength. 💪

Across the country, communities are encouraged to celebrate military children and raise awareness of their experiences.🫂 Make sure to wear your purple this month and on Purple Up! Day — April 15 — to show appreciation for military children and their families. 💜 Wearing purple symbolizes unity for military children across all branches of the military, and it’s an easy way to show your support and remind them that they are seen and appreciated.

Today, on National Supreme Sacrifice Day, we honor the courage, service, and ultimate sacrifice of our fallen heroes. They gave their tomorrows for our today. May we continue to uphold our mission of Service Not Self, carrying their legacy forward with gratitude and remembrance.
